Parent-Owned and Directed
Christ-Centered & Interdenominational
The centrality of Christ provides the framework for the educational process at LCS. All subjects are viewed through the lens of Scripture because all truth is God’s truth. This learning platform leads to a broad understanding of God’s purposes and enables students to properly integrate knowledge with conduct.
LCS welcomes families from diverse evangelical backgrounds and does not promote denominational distinctives. School families represent approximately 70 evangelical churches throughout the area.
K-12 Unified Program
The entire K-12 program is located on a single, unified campus. Parents are able to be consistently involved in the life of the school because all of their children are at the same location. Students build life-long friendships and have the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with faculty members. This unified program provides for stability and educational consistency across divisions and enhances the learning experience.
Experienced Faculty
LCS teachers bring an average of 14 years of experience to the classroom, demonstrating their commitment to students and to Christian education. Twenty-five percent of LCS teachers hold advanced degrees and 85% are certified through ACSI. Teachers view their work as a ministry and approach each day with a high degree of professionalism. These factors lead to a high level of confidence among parents and students.
Fully Accredited Program
LCS provides a fully accredited educational program. Certifications have been granted by Middle States Association (
Nurturing Community
LCS promotes a feeling of family, community and a sense of belonging. Within this safe and friendly environment, students are able to explore many educational opportunities and develop their God-given potential.
Enduring Legacy
LCS offers experience, stability and longevity over many generations. Current faculty members continue the pattern of excellence established since the founding of the school in 1954. We have had alumni of the school return as faculty and/or send their children to LCS, carrying on the traditions and heritage of the school.
