Our Leadership

 

Dr. Sandy M. Outlar, Headmaster Emeritus 

Dr. Outlar received his doctorate in education from Wilmington College after earning two Bachelor of Arts degrees (Bible and History). He also holds two Master of Arts degrees (Education and Administration) from Columbia International University and Villanova University respectively. Dr. Outlar is a certified counselor through the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC) and holds a Superintendent’s Certificate with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Additionally, he has served as an adjunct professor at Columbia International University.

 

Throughout his career, Dr. Outlar served as headmaster of four Christian schools, including his current position as headmaster of Lancaster Christian School. Prior to assuming this position in 2005, he served as President of Sandy Cove Ministries in North East, Maryland. In addition to the aforementioned positions, Dr. Outlar has been a Board member of the National Institute for Learning Disabilities (NILD), Association of Christian Counselors and Sandy Cove Ministries. He has also served as a consultant to Christian schools in the areas of board development, marketing, professional development and facility improvements and is a popular public speaker as well as a published writer.  

 

Mr. Michael Stell, Principal

Mr. Stell is a graduate of Faith Baptist Academy and Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. He is currently working on a MA in Theological Studies through Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida.

 

Previously, Mr. Stell worked at the Syracuse Rescue Mission in their adult educational/vocational learning center and was administrator at Baldwinsville Christian Academy near Syracuse, New York. He served as a board member for New York Association of Christian Schools and has written for their quarterly newsletter. In addition, he has been a speaker at their annual teachers’ conference, having given workshops on Biblical Integration and teaching the Bible effectively.
